SURRENDER is a one-track album: a single 47-minute piece of music, made for uninterrupted listening. Rather than a set of tracks built for function, it tells a longer story: a self-curated sequence of interconnected musical ideas, given room to unfold beyond the limits of the conventional track format.
It is available only on selected streaming services, with no downloads and no physical edition. Anyone can listen to it at home, while the piece itself stays with its creator. It exists in two forms only: as a recording, and in his own live performances.
The format is also a position on where the value of music lies: in listening and in performance. By keeping the work rather than selling it as a tool, the music stays connected to the person who made it, and listeners meet it directly, through streaming at home or through a ticket to hear it live.
